Teething Kensie

Well, Kensie has been teething. At least I think she is. Her runny nose and coughing is in its third week now, but she doesn't seem like she has a cold. She chews on everything, and is a bit whiney. Last night she was actually crying on and off for a few hours leading up to bedtime, so I gave her some Tylenol. She didn't have a temp, but I felt like I needed to give her something. She just seemed so uncomfortable and sad. The good thing about Tylenol is it makes her so tired, so she went to bed at her normal time of 7:30, even though with the time change she should have felt like it was 6:30. I guess I didn't need to worry about the time change impacting her schedule after all!

Along with teething Kensie has been working on crawling. The thing is, she doesn't seem to understand that she must use her arms and legs to move. If you put her on the floor, she lifts her legs and arms up, like she is trying to fly! But alas, this does not allow her to move from her to there... since she is not Peter Pan. Happy thoughts don't work in the real world. Need to use old fashioned hard work, Kensie!
