Kensie understands a lot of things now, which I guess shouldn't be a surprise to me... but it is. I will say, do you want to play with your kitchen, and she goes to her little kitchen. She shows me a baby bottle and I say "feed the baby" and she finds her baby doll and pretends to feed it. She is also getting really good at all her puzzles... the other day we had three going at one time. I would pull a random puzzle piece from the box and she would identify which puzzle it went to and put the piece in. Her vocabulary is slowly expanding, too. Every night when I put her to bed, I wave her blanket over her body three times, so she can feel the wind on her face. Then I always "tuck her in" and say.... "tuck, tuck, tuck." Yesterday... I was a little late on my tucking and she said "tuck, tuck!!"
With regard to just plain growing, Kensie is still a tiny bean. She's still only 22 pounds and wearing 12-18 month clothes very comfortably. She can still even wear some 12 month clothes. She is getting a few molars on the bottom now, which puts her in a whiny mood some nights. But, we are glad she is getting more teeth so she can eat more kinds of things. Foodwise, Kensie has been really loving blueberry muffins and raisins (yogurt or chocolate covered!).
